Kanto is an independent Pokémon club in Colchester, run by Lee and Jo. We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company. For anything in this policy, email lee@kanto.uk.

When you book an event we take the booker's name and email address, the name of each attendee (tickets are named), and optionally a trainer nickname or Play! Pokémon Player ID where the event needs one.

If you join the mailing list we keep the email address you gave us and where on the site you signed up. That's it.

Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our systems — we only see that a booking has been paid.

Running the events you booked: sending your ticket, matching you to the door list on the day, and contacting you if an event changes or is cancelled. Mailing-list emails only go to people who opted in, and every one includes a way out.

We never sell your data. Full stop.

The site uses essential cookies only — the ones bookings and sign-in can't work without. Nothing else is set without your say-so via the cookie banner.

Only the services that make the club run: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (tickets and booking confirmations), and our database host. Each gets the minimum it needs.

Youth events are booked by a parent or guardian, who provides the attendee names. See our safeguarding policy for how we look after young players at events.

Ask us any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email lee@kanto.uk and a human (Lee or Jo) will sort it. We keep booking records only as long as we need them to run events and keep honest accounts.
